If you're cutting dry wood you're going to gain a ton from switching to this blade.

It's a spare blade for the saw and arrived safely. Not much more that I can say.

This blade is 1mm thick compared to the all purpose at 0.8mm. It feels considerably more robust. Cuts very well and should be simple to sharpen, but I didn't try the all purpose so can’t compare. Sold the all purpose on ebay to recoup my money but its a pity there isn’t a choice to just have the rancher fitted when buying the saw as there is on the American Agawa website for an additional $5.

I first came across this amazing saw on a website from Canada. I have come across a lot of different folding and bow saws in my lifetime, but the Boreal 21 is the best saw I have ever used or owned. All the blades for this saw are really amazing, they are thicker, so less wobbly when using the saw. That being said the best blade by far is the Sidney Rancher 2 blade. You have to try it to believe it. I have just finished taking apart a fallen 150 ft beach tree. Now there's just the main trunk.
