Excellent tarp, good quality, I've had a couple of these over the years and moved them on to others, think they have just about reached their price ceiling though.

Exactly what I expected.

Only used the tarp once so far but can confirm it was waterproof in fairly heavy rain.

Super light 3X2.8 DD Tarp.

Excellent cover, especially combined with bivy and mat.

Light, very useful size, combines with light bivi so kit fits in daysack for ultralight treks.

Tarp is awesome. Could do with a couple of more guy lines/pegs (comes with 4). I bought 6 extra to cover different set-ups. Light weight and well made.

This tarp looks good. I already have the standard 3x3 from dd, and hold it in high esteem. I've not used this tarp yet, but the seams are all good, and it's definitely smaller and lighter in its packed down state.

Fantastic service and prices. I searched the net for the DD Hammocks Superlight Tarp and found it cheapest Inc postage and with a 2 day delivery on the Tamarack website. Saved to favourites.

On examination when received noticed several sections of the tarp stitching was coming undone ( other reviewers made similar comments ). Would have given only one star but the quality of the tarp was fairly good. Poor craftsmanship/quality control from DD tarps which is a shame as I try to buy UK manufactured products . Tarmarack Outdoors first class service including very prompt refund on return of tarp.

Some of the tabs have not been stitched in a straight line, or the stitching is straight but the tab is not. So far, I can't comment on the waterproofing but the strength of the fabric is good. From my experience, and what I have heard elsewhere, it seems that DD need to improve their quality control somewhat. .

After having a few of the more expensive and “high end” tarps, I decided to give the super light tarps a go. These things are top notch for the money..! Good stitching, plenty of attachment points and really is super light. The added tarp stakes and guy lines are a nice touch too. The only very slight downside is the Stuff sack is a bit on the small side.

Less robust than their standard tarp, but still very tough with added benefit of almost unnoticeable weight and packing down to 20*14*4 cm. Brilliant!

Very light and looks to be good quality. Reinforced tabs & neat stitching so it should last.
